When I read stuff like this, it really upsets me. This country does not spend enough time, energy, and money on the important things. This is not acceptable. Children are so precious, but the seriousness of this situation is barely addressed. Working with the Medicaid system in Georgia helped me to see it from the inside and it touched my heart then and hasn't left since. =(
